Reiki Therapy

What is Reiki? Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese's word (Rei) which means "Universal Life" and (Ki) Which means "Energy" "Universal Life Energy". Everything has energy and sometimes our energy gets low or blocked which can lead to stress, depression and many other complication. A Reiki practitioner acts as a channel, pulling energy from the room. The practitioner allows the energy to pass from practitioner to patient. The patients body will only take in the energy it needs and the body will direct the energy to where it is needed there is no risk of being over energized. We all use some form of Reiki, think about when you stub you toe on the door jam, the first thing we all do is grab our hurt toe to ease the pain. How about when a child falls off their bike and scrapes their leg. What is the first thing we as care takers do?  We Place the palms of our hands over the  scrape and sometimes we even kiss the area to ease the pain. I know myself personally used it when I had knee surgery.  I was in  a lot of pain and  nothing I could do would ease the pain. I finally had the idea to use Reiki on myself to see if it would help (this  before I knew much about Reiki).  I placed the palms of my hands on my thighs and allowed the energy to flow down my legs to where it needed to go. I found so much relief from Reiki my knee pain eased so much that I could relax. My husband also started to work on my knee and even the physical therapist I was working with remarked at how much the area had healed. Understand my therapist had no idea my husband and I had started this perhaps a week before she made that statement. For us this was a huge validation that there was healing happening as we did this. So we invite you to come and see the benefits of receiving Reiki for yourself.
