There a lot of misunderstanding of what hypnotherapy is and what it is not, I am here to help you understand more about what it actually is. First lets start with some myths of hypnotherapy.
You lose control of your self. We cannot not make you cluck like a chicken unless you want to.
Most people are very aware of what's happening, some people do experience amnesia due to the depth of trance they may go in, but its no different then when go to sleep at night and dream. In most cases the session is recorded and given to the client to help reinforce the work that is needed, because the more you listen to the recording the better.
I can't be hypnotized
We can all be hypnotized! Everyday we are hypnotized many times through out our day. When we drive we all often get road hypnotized, can you think of times when you where driving and the next thing you know you are almost at your destination and have no idea how you got there? How about when you are at the movies and you get really evolved with the story you find that your emotions will match what's on the screen that's being hypnotized.
Being hypnotized is unnatural
We will be using the same process that you use when you go to sleep very natural. Meditation is a form of hypnosis.
